Fallout 76 shotgunner build
I run a shotgun build and use the Combat shotgun as my go-to weapon, a Gauss (with demolition expert) for robots and super-mutants, and a Pepper Shaker for bosses and hordes. I use Scattershot to reduce weapon weights, and various perks/boosts to make myself more tanky so that I can get up close and personal with the CS. My shotgun build kills some on 1 hit, most on 2 hits and some on 3 hits. My full health shotgunner is focused on VATS since I notice that VATS gives you much more damage. I use all powered armor to keep up with the AP cost. I use explosive combat shotguns: TSE, QE, AAE and VE. AAE and TSE seem about the same.

Blocker is a top tier defensive perk in both PvE, where many of the strongest enemies don’t have guns, and PvP, where melee players will come swinging at you with huge damage numbers and armor penetration from 75-100%.
